Rather enjoyable trailer-park noir, the long denouement in particular. I just wish the acting were a bit less theatrical (insufferably so in Emile Hirsch and Gina Gershon’s case) — the film is adapted from a play and it shows. McConaughey is fantastically creepy and absolutely perfect as Killer Joe Cooper — and that KFC blow job scene is deliciously fucked up.
