Detachment

at first, it wasn't so clear to me why this movie was called Detachment. however, by the end of it i decided for myself it was named so because the main character is constantly in the state of detachment from his students, his own thoughts, his own rules, his own world. too sad he learned his lesson only by the end of the story. and good that he eventually attached to himself afterwards.
