Pretty much bullshit. The author of the original book grew up with black housekeepers and wrote this book as her little white guilt fantasy about saving them. Note to Hollywood, next time you want to go Oscar-baiting, maybe you could actually cover the real stories of everyday people who experienced hate and fought for civil rights instead of this "how I wish it happened" embarrassment.
