Very enjoyable on the surface as a friendly, fun family affair, but also a nice nod at Scorsese's love of film and the overall talent and well of creativity that Hollywood USED to have. Also, the film seems to be a not so subtle reminder about film preservation and history (Scorsese being part of The Film Foundation after all).
