On the Road

The movie gave up the (impossible) pretension to be entirely faithful to the book, and that is exactly one of its high points: it tries to recreate the whole aura of the book in another way, not just telling the story. It's beautifully shot and aesthetically pretty interesting. But at sometimes it seems a little pointless.
