In 1927, Paul Renner designed a typeface named Futura which means future, coming, unborn, prospective, next etc. In 1968, Futura is used in the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey as Stanley Kubrick wanted to capture the mood of the year 2001 in his imagination. What to say? It is insanely great.
