I keep erasing my posts for this movie. I honestly don't know what to say. It is amazing on all the levels you would expect from PTA, but there is something more in this movie I haven't been able to put a finger on. I was initially underwhelmed by the last half hour or so, but as I walked away from the theater I was shaking, and shed a few tears. This movie knocked loose some old and new issues. It made me want to drink (which is not a usual feeling for me), so I got a bottle of something cheap and sat by the ocean, thinking. The film made me more introspective then any other I've ever seen. It made me depressed, it made me think, it made me feel, and, I think, it made me change.
