It's already sensational to have adapted a 800 pages book into a film that's NEVER boring and always compelling. The visual approach is fantastic and splendidly photographed by McGarvey, and the direction is sweeping and on edge. It's an incredible experience, really worth watching. Having not read the book, I can't compare the adaptation with the original material, but as a script, it works out great.
