The Master

Paul Thomas Anderson, I'm sure, knew what he was doing, but it's going to take me a while to fully wrap my head around this film. It was beautiful and Joaquin Phoenix is a shoo in for best actor, but the movie as a whole seemed to fall just a bit flat. I did love it, though, don't get me wrong. Phoenix was gripping and absolutely INCREDIBLE and was the sole reason I continued to be interested in the film.
