Gangs of New York

The only Scorsese film that's more intolerable than this one for me is "New York, New York." At least that movie had the real pleasure of watching Robert DeNiro play a saxophone & the odd pairing of him & Liza Minnelli. The 'DiCaprio Years' have brought about some of the most mediocre films in Scorsese's career. First this, then the stultifying mediocrity of "The Aviator." I won't hold my breath for "Shutter Island."
