Edgemar Theatre Group is now Accepting New Members Edgemar Theatre Group is a membership theatre company of professional actors, writers, directors and designers founded on May 3, 2008. Edgemar Theatre Group’s goal is to mount both great original and classic plays and build a bridge from theatre to film. We fervently hope to bring to the next generation something that is not solitary and electronic, but alive. Theatre is a shared community experience and as necessary as the air we breathe. Edgemar Theatre Group is a group of artists that are passionate and dedicated in sharing our love for the art of live theatre. We are a unified and consistent group of people coming together and creating. We produce works of relevance and impact with hopes to affect this generation and many to come. Edgemar Theatre Group is a loyal and important force which is deeply involved with Edgemar Center for the Arts, a not-for-profit two theatre and art gallery complex located at 2437 Main Street, Santa Monica, CA 90405. The ultimate goal for Edgemar Theatre Group is to develop talent and material for the stage and/or screen. Our upcoming Season includes: * A Night Out by Harold Pinter * An Inch of Your Life by Massimo Pagliaroli * Present Laughter by Noel Coward * Hello Herman by John Buffalo Mailer * Tennessee William’s Festival Meetings take place monthly. Members have the opportunity to propose projects for the Lab Theatre Season as well as audition for our Main Stage Productions. Limited membership, new members are accepted by audition. We are looking for talented, pro-active, dedicated artists interested in making Edgemar Center for the Arts their creative home.
