Our take

Levan Akin’s And Then We Danced took the festival circuit by storm with its impressionistic depiction of desire and electrifying dance sequences. Introducing a marvellous Levan Gelbakhiani, this silky, intimate story gently excavates queer allusions from the conservative Georgian folk-dance scene.
