[Chris Soos on Gábor Tarko]: I had the added benefit of personally knowing some of the commercial DPs my Uncle had worked with in the past. Two guys in particular, Laszlo George and Gabor Tarko. I spoke to them regularly about everything. I knew I wanted to shoot and the school gave me the freedom, but I also kept teaching myself. The environment also introduced me to a handful of committed filmmakers, we’re still friends, that’s the main thing you get out of school, friends.
