So easily the best of the trilogy, mainly due to Bruce Campbell at his peak, rather than anything heavier in the story. When I'm not jumping out of my skin I'm laughing my head off, which for someone not too interested in comedy in horror films, is a big thing!
A modern classic!
One of the greatest horror films ever made, there's so much slapstick and Three Stooges-type shenanigans thrown in that it's always a jolt back to reality when the blood starts spurting. Bruce Campbell's finest moment on film.
Really, a genius film.
Another one of the classic horror films from the 1980s. For me it's the funniest part of the trilogy. After three decades, camera and sound design are still exceptional and sometimes very scary, and there are many very good and original ideas (e.g. the short mirror scene and following the sequence with the hand).
