Our take

This exceptional debut is a refreshing portrait of a gentle, if self-destructive, sex worker longing for intimacy, carried by a heart-rending performance that won Félix Maritaud (120 BPM) an award in Cannes. Neither glamorous nor gritty, but rather a necessarily nuanced and sensitive quest for love.
