Hugely impressive when it first came out, it has now lost some of its lustre, yet it remains an engaging neo-noir that plays well with the genre's mythology. In the absence of a femme fatale it offers a bunch of self-destructive characters led by the cryptically mythologized Keyser Soze. Thus, as a discourse on (the) (d)evil and its ultimate trick to deprive belief in it, the film delivers along with a splendid cast.
Still holds up as a fantastic piece of "comic book noir", where the presentation of the mysterious Söze has a touch of Dr Mabuse about him, but also any supervillain. The narrative is brilliantly developed &still engaging even with full knowledge of the twist. The casting is excellent & McQuarrie's screenplay is handled incredibly well by Singer, whose visuals become more expressive as the layers of deception add up.
definitely not as good of a plot twist as one would expect from the hype. excellent performance by Kevin Spacey, but other than that a mediocre film, that doesn't live up to the hype and high ranking in the charts. LOL @ the dramatic fall of the covfefe mug. problem with that kind of twist is that it makes the whole preceding movie pointless.... unlike "fight club" or even "get out" when you start thinking later.
46/100 (SPOİLER! 1) Daha en başında 5 kişi hapisteyken ; Kevin Spacey'in karakterine karşı 4 kişilik ekip tanımadığına yönelik konuşmalar gerçekleştirdi. Burada her şey anlaşılıyor. Sonradan kanki oldular tuzağına düşülemez. - 2) Filmin büyük bölümü malesef manipülasyon. Niye Spacey'in karakterinin kurgusunu izlemek zorundayız? Bu manipülasyon değil mi? Seyirciyi kandırmaya çalışmak(!) sinema değildir. Devamı yorum.)
