Our take

This strange and bittersweet romance from Icelandic auteur Dagur Kári takes a sideways look at the life of a lonely man with a big heart and an even bigger body. A dark romantic comedy of outsiders, Virgin Mountain brims with compassion for difference, and with hope for starting again.
