Cranston delivers a solid performance as usual but unfortunately this is nyquil in film form. What starts as an interesting premise soon becomes a painfully tedious affair due to the way the idea has been executed. The film lacks ingenuity and flare.
The suburban malaise films just kinda all run the same, man is crap, man does snarky thing to try and get back at his family, man discovers how much crap he is and feels bad about it. This one just has a ton of voice over and clever concept that kinda is taken to a point of absurdity that lacks poetry. Bleh
