UPDATED 9/3/20 – a long overdue update. Not adding any films right now, but some reshuffling of my personal rankings. Thanks to all who follow this list, nice to see so many other noir enthusiasts!

Trying to make a running list of the noirs that I have seen. Probably not exhaustive, but I am trying my best.

It should also be noted that I have taken a somewhat liberal stance on what is and is not “noir.” I follow the Potter Stewart approach: I know it when I see it.
