33ª Mostra Internacional de Cinema em São Paulo

The Auteurs and the 33ª Mostra Internacional de Cinema em São Paulo (or, if you like, the São Paulo International Film Festival) are launching a unique initiative today, creating what amounts to an online film festival that makes films from all around the world immediately viewable to Brazilian cinephiles. For the duration of the festival running through November 5, an international selection of films from the Competition will be streamed to the first 300 viewers once they've unreeled in theaters in São Paulo. If this is what the future looks like, bring it on.
