Darum sehenswert

Aydın Orak’s eulogy to a Kurdish man of letters who was assassinated in 1992 is aptly essayistic and poetic, evoking a state of being and thinking as much as a person. As crystalline images repeat and return across the film’s fragments, Moses Without Rod grows ever more mesmeric and spectral.
