Great that Perlov's film is finally on Mubi. I love this movie as much as I love "Celine et Julie vont en bateau", "Lost, Lost, Lost", "Vertigo" or "Tokyo Story" and there's no film I love more than the ones I just mentioned.
Had I not seen Mekas before, this wouldn't have failed to impress me. But since i had, with no intention to undermine its political message,
the film is an amateurish imitated work with no singularity; the voice-over is kinda annoying, most of the time unnecessary. A diary with the randomness of daily life, but without its repetition
