Kudos to Alex Gibney for his stamina, determination, and indefatigable investigative journalism. This series about corporate greed provides priceless - and often demoralizing - insights into the most despicable brands on earth, including Volkswagen (nazi gas chambers on wheels), HSBC (ongoing money laundering for terrorist organizations) and Trump (enough said). Suggestions for season two: Monsanto, Nestlé, Apple.
Sometimes, this piece of common sense outrage does reach its goal - that is to dig a bit deeper than your everyday news coverage in search of mega-corporation conspiracies. These are rare and welcome occasions. But, mostly, this series is just informative click-baiting on steroids. The final episode, about Trump, has as much "depth" as any segment of any major media outlet about the world's greatest buffoon.
