With such a cast and a director like Stanley Donen, one might expect a good comedy. But it seems that everyone is in this film for the wrong reasons.
It has no rhythm, Donen isn't inspired by the material, Grant is too old for the part, does what he can to jazz it up but with no result. Parker is as wooden as she is beautiful, and Mansfield is only used to boo(b)st up the pace when the film drags. Quel dommage.
