What an intriguing film! The outdoors and open frames were very astonishing, especially the ones in the forest with the deers. Beyond this, I think is great how it portrays the complexity of the situation. The accusations are so delicated that it is difficult to take things calmly based on the premise "children don't lie or cannot". However, the attitude of each side is the most logical since it is the most human!
Definitely a bit unsettling, but of course this is a large part of what makes this film so intriguing (the other major draw being Mads Mikkelsen’s highly nuanced but, as always, measured performance). In this film, though, Mads adds a bit of an interesting element of “sensitivity” to the character. So if you are a Mads Mikkelsen fan, I would definitely recommend you watch this just to see this particular performance.
