Howard Fritzson's rating of the film The Man I Married

Unlike most anti-Nazi films of the forties, this one is well acted. It allows the horrible situation to dominate rather than any hysterical performance. Joan Bennett is superb playing someone who is slow to recognize what is happening. She is a truly underrated actress. Check out how great she can be in Max Ophul's "The Reckless Moment."
