Favorites of the 40's

The decade in which classical language is crystallized. The decade in which authors, as extraordinary as they are, are more or less adapted to such language. Or almost, since some stood out to compensate the many others that took advantage of it and, in its entirety, represent that which is most involving and creative in the 1940’s cinema. This list wants to highlight some of those examples, in both cases.
