Despite dying in 2011, Raúl Ruiz continues to make cinematic mischief. This comic and surreal pastiche of telenovelas was made during a fertile workshop Ruiz ran in 1990. Finished and restored by his wife and editor, Valeria Sarmiento, TV melodrama collides Ruiz’s fabulism and the era of Twin Peaks.
