João Pedro Rodrigues emerged in Portuguese cinema as a bold, idiosyncratic and unorthodox queer auteur. O Fantasma (“The Ghost”) is his first feature-length fiction film, a disquieting, fragmented story exploring nocturnal and sexual escapades set in the dark and surreal streets of Lisbon.
