An early showcase for Anya Taylor-Joy and Olivia Cooke’s talents, this wicked high-society satire plots a perfect Hitchcockian murder. A dark morality tale spun from inside the ivory towers of upper-middle-class America, Thoroughbreds is shaded with the deadpan humor of a Wes Anderson film.
