Ninni Lepanto, a mild bank worker in the south of Italy, is forced by his father’s threats to stand for mayor. He is involved in a diabolic mechanism involving two rogues: Cocò Raffati and Saro Lodato. Ninni is easily elected, to the joy of his wife Milena.
