Ne’re-do-well reporter Jerry Corbett finally meets and marries the right girl, heiress Joan Prentiss. Unfortunately their wedded bliss is interrupted by Jerry’s alcoholism, and when a play by him becomes a hit and he hooks up with the wrong woman from his past.
