Anna, an elderly, village woman, is widowed. Her daughter, a big city doctor, believes that the best thing would be to take her mother in. But the relationship between Anna, torn from her environment, and Iza, living her city life, doesn’t work out; Anna is slowly withering and life has lost its pur
