Marketing Manager, Brazil

We are working from all over the world, including London, New York, Mexico City, São Paulo, Paris, Berlin, Istanbul, and many more. 
 
We are seeking a highly-motivated individual with marketing experience and a passion for film to join our team in Brazil and drive our local marketing strategy and execution. You will be an integral part of a small, dedicated team working to build awareness and fuel subscriber growth in Brazil through partnerships, social media, content-driven campaigns, digital and brand marketing. 

While we are looking for candidates who thrive in remote work environments, this position requires the candidate to be based in São Paulo.
 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Implement the marketing strategy and priorities for Brazil, collaborating with MUBI’s Brazil Senior Marketing Manager to establish growth-focused long-term goals
  • Analyze and assess marketing activities for impact and optimization
  • Assist in executing global marketing campaigns, including brand, content-specific, and seasonal promotions
  • Localize marketing copies for film releases, website, email communications, campaigns, and other channels
  • Identify trends in the local SVOD market, film industry, and digital landscape
  • Coordinate the local organic social media strategy and influencer partnerships, working closely with the BR Marketing Coordinator for strategic planning and execution
  • Liaise local PR opportunities with the Global Communications team and coordinate the local PR agency's daily requests, deliveries, and deadlines 
  • Collaborate with distribution and core digital marketing teams, as well as the content team to promote MUBI’s programming and curation
  • Cultivate relationships with optimal platforms, corporate partners, institutions, and brands


IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Experience in planning and executing consumer-facing brand marketing strategies and campaigns; stays up-to-date on trends in the digital marketing landscape 
  • Willing and enthusiastic about excelling in both strategic thinking and hands-on execution, capable of seamlessly bridging high-level concepts with practical implementation
  • Analytical mindset, able to define KPIs and evaluate campaign effectiveness
  • Able to work independently, meeting deadlines and reporting results regularly
  • Impeccable attention to detail and highly organized 
  • Team player who enjoys working collaboratively with cross-functional counterparts 
  • Demonstrates the ability to excel while working independently and collaboratively in a remote setup
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, highly self-motivated, and thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • A confident and effective communicator with strong writing skills
  • Creative thinker with a strong problem-solving ability

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of related marketing experience
  • Experience working in the entertainment or tech field is a plus
  • Fluent in English; other languages are a plus
Salary: Dependent on experience.
