Programming Operations Assistant, Global

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team in London. Working closely with our Programming team, you would be central in assisting the team by being at the core of the operations workflow.

Your day-to-day:
  • Assisting the Programming Operations Manager in managing, updating and improving MUBI’s Content and Rights Management System.
  • Assisting with the ingestion and preparation of film rights reports and availabilities.
  • Preparing and coordinating the execution of documents (e.g., DocuSign, scanning) while managing external and internal document flow.
  • Maintaining and managing the global content inventory while making regular contact with people negotiating deals around highlights and shortfalls to come.
  • Liaising between the programming, content material operations and localization teams.
  • Liaising with external partners (distributors, press, festivals) and the in-house teams to deliver the monthly film programmes.
  • Preparing data reports from our analytics system on how titles are performing on the platform.
  • Coordinating content offering across partner platforms such as Amazon Prime Video and Apple TV.
  • Managing the team’s schedule, travel planning and expense tracking, along with weekly meetings, project deadlines, and team presentations.

Our ideal candidate
The Programming Operations Assistant needs to be organised, resourceful and detail-orientated with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a data-driven or administrative role. Experience working with data entry, a CMS or contract administration is preferred. Thorough experience working with Microsoft Office and Google Suite is required as is the ability to prioritise administrative tasks. Excellent communication skills are essential in order to coordinate between your manager, different time zones and teams, as well as maintain MUBI’s high-standard relationships with content providers. In addition, a passion for art-house and independent cinema and a basic understanding of the digital distribution landscape would be beneficial.

You would also:
  • Be able to multitask and juggle simultaneous projects of various scales and levels of priority.
  • Have impeccable attention to detail and strong diligence.
  • Have the ability to work independently toward tight deadlines, reporting results on a regular basis through multiple channels of communication.
  • Be a team player with an enthusiastic attitude.
  • Be organised, punctual, and patient.
Salary: Dependent on experience.
