Our take

A warm, humane portrait of a snowbound village school, photographer Yalçın Çiftçi’s debut documentary finds beauty in hardship and grace in routine. Blending documentary insight with lyrical composition, Children of the White Mountain captures the quiet resilience of forgotten places.
