Jan runs the Sonic Catering Institute, a creative retreat for artists working between avant-garde music and outré cuisine. Currently in residence are a performance art collective locked in a power struggle. When Jan attempts to nurture the group’s craft, personal and creative tensions begin to rise.

Served this time in a culinary sound studio, Peter Strickland’s latest offering is another baroque feast for the senses: a bold fusion of gastronomy, grotesquerie, and sauciness, reminiscent of the great Peter Greenaway and starring the enigmatic Greek Weird Wave actor Ariane Labed. Bon appétit!
