Laura is a rich and prestigious heiress who falls in love with Ricardo, a poor but honest sculptor. Happiness seems to have found its place, but Laura’s father soon interrupts it by forcing her to marry Enrique, an engineer as vain and pretentious as he is rich, whom Laura does not love.
