Our take

Locking arms with Diego Luna, Jennifer Lopez radiates Old Hollywood glamor in Bill Condon’s sweeping adaptation of a Broadway sensation, set during Argentina’s military dictatorship. Blooming in Technicolor, lush musical sequences liberate the power of imagination, unshackled from whips and chains.
