Maria Kelemen is a secretary in the office of a Budapest bank. Her boss, Dir. Borden, is courting her, even though she is engaged to Paul, which she has kept secret. On the day of the wedding, Paul becomes unemployed and plays househusband. When Borden visits, Maria passes Paul off as her brother.
