“Somebody said to me, “You conquered the big world out there.” I said, “I didn’t conquer, I just survived.” Conquering is a little different thing, I don’t even know what that means. I said, “I was happy to survive.” The fact that I have been allowed to play a variety of different sorts of characters, it’s really the icing on the cake. I couldn’t be more thrilled.”
