The journeyman tailor Wenzel Graf is dismissed by his master and goes on a journey. He is handsome, has impeccable manners and looks like a gentleman in his elegant coat. When he wants to stop off at the ‘Waage’ inn, the innkeeper takes him for the announced Count Strapinski.
