Based on the comedic novel Straight Man by Richard Russo, Bob Odenkirk is Henry “Hank” Devereaux, a cynical, joke loving professor struggling with aging, campus politics, a less than stellar academic career, and in his roles as father to Julie (Olivia Scott Welch) & husband to Lily (Mirielle Enos).
