Twin sisters separated by shipwreck in childhood grow into very different women: one has lived her life on a remote bandit-plagued island with a blind missionary, the other’s become a Parisian vamp. One of the latter’s ex-lovers is recruited to find the treasure supposedly hidden on the island.
