“It was difficult to write about it because it makes me feel very vulnerable talking about my past, but at the same time – it was empowering to write about it. Feeling that I can do this. I can talk about it. I can overcome it. And hopefully I can help other women overcome traumas in their lives as well by showing them that it’s OK to talk about these things.”
