“There is a Korean saying that states if you don’t know much you are very bold and brave. I think that saying relates to me greatly. Because I was never trained at film school, I didn’t know much so I could keep trying and ‘going at it’ and eventually achieve something. I guess in the end not knowing much about the process was a positive thing.”
