Probably the Most Sensitive Documentary I've seen in a long time. For me it was a constant struggle to see the familys reality of life, connected with this journey. It felt like i had to make an experience by accepting these peoples pain and joy to open my perspective of view.
Anyway i appreciate the Directors/DoP's sensibility and respect while filming, which gave this complex Situation a feeling of dignity.
Parents should not have to bury their child...
The documentation is intimate, we get very close at least to the surface of the bereaved family members and friends, before and after Heikos death. An important documentary in a world, where death is still some kind of taboo.
Technically, which I find very sad, the film has some real flaccidities, first and foremost the sound (but also editing some other things).
