We begin the film with public image Sono. The aggressive, self-righteous batshit bonkers artist. Then we fade into someone more human. He takes time to chat with ordinary folk. He has a modest flat. A nice wife. He's passionate about cinema and quite childlike in how he runs his day-to-day life. And he has self-doubt. I'm not sure what kind of person I was expecting, but this film made me kinda like the guy.
