"FJERNSYNSTEATRET" - NORWEGIAN MASTERPIECE THEATRE (1959-94)

On-going list as productions are seen in chronological order.

“Fjernsynsteatret” started in 1959, but the the first seasons have been lost (tapes were wiped or lost). The first productions in color started in 1970. It was cancelled in 1990.

While both beloved and hated, this Norwegian “masterpiece theater” would modernise Norwegian film as it got more and more experimental and there was also a lot of actors who got their debut here. This list consist only of self-made productions as this show also would transmit productions from Sweden, Denmark and Finland during it’s time.
