I’m using the term “queerness” to describe and include the wide spectrum of LGBTQIA+ love; I realized that my list’s original title “Homosexuality in Pre-Stonewall Cinema” didn’t reflect the diversity and richness found within the queer community, especially regarding trans, non-binary, intersex and asexual people. I’m sorry if I offended anyone with my previous title; I’m making amends now with a title change, as I continue to learn/appreciate more about this resilient and vibrant community.
